Why did I choose this character:

I love Dragonball-Z-GT and I will do as much characters as I like and Celipa was one of the cosplays I had in my mind for a while. I like very much strong girls and she's the only female pure Saiyajin we see in all the Dragonball trilogy and I think she's very cool, so I did her! Plus I wanted to bring a Dragonball costume for Comicket in Japan and I wanted something new, so that's it! ^_^


Making off:

This dress was not very complicated, but had some hard part do do, like the armour and then gloves and bootcovers.
The costume is composed by a hot pink leotard made with lycra totally sewed by myself. White gloves are made out with lycra and has some iron on stiffener to give them the bell shape. For the boots I used my Kaioshin red boots ones coverd with white lycra bootcovers. The two socks (the long one and the short one) are made out with yellow jersey and the armour is made with black neoprene and a black bra sewed together and has a zipper on one side for an easy wear. The yellow stripes on the belly and the shoulder strap are made with foam rubber covered with the same yellow jersey of the socks and quilted with the sewing machine and white thick rounded trims all around the armour are made with lycra tubes filled with foam rubber and attached at the armour.
Knee pads are made with the same hot pink lycra of the leotard and black neoprene trimmed with a white ribbon.
For the monkey tail I made a tubular shape with some brown sinthetic fur filled with wireframe coverd by foamrubber. The green scouter has been purchased from Ebay!
To complete the costume I also made a pair of golden earings.
