Character: Doremi Harukaze

Why did I choose this character:

She's soo cute!!! And she sounds a lot like me!
Same laziness, same greed and same carelessness! And she's the pink one, so it feet me really really well!!! ^_-


Making off:

This was my third cosplay and I still was not very experienced in sewing, so mom helped me a little. The pink blouse is a jumper bought at the department store and altered a little, sleeves has been taken off, then I made a hole in the middle of the chest to allow the cord of the musical compact to pass through so that it seems attached at the blouse without any cord or necklace and then I attached the petal at the shoulders. For the skirt I made big petals in three different shades of pink with a rigid soul to be in shape attached at a thick belt made with same materials of petals which fasten on the back with velcro and to keep the skirt in shape like real Doremi ones mom helped me making a pink petticoat for the puffy effect. For the boots I made bootcovers and the hat is made with cartboard covered with same pink lining of the dress. For the red odangos I hot glued at the hat 2 big styrofoam balls colored with red acrilic paint. Gloves are bought, altered a little and dyed hot pink and the two bracelets are made with rainbow beads. A short red wig and the magical wand completes the costume! ^_^
