Why did I choose this character:

I like very much One Piece and since I love Dragonball when I saw the new super cool short story of Cross Epoch with Dragonball and One Piece character together made for the 40th anniversary of Shonen Jump, I immediately felt in love with and when Bulmamiky told me she was goig to cosplay Bulma from Cross Epoch, I decided to join her as Nami from this new super cool series!!! In the story, which is a 20 pages manga, Nami and Bulma are two pirates and wears space-pirates style clothes, but there are two figures with Nami and Bulma where Nami has Goku style clothes and viceversa Bulma has Rufy style clothes, so we decided to do this version because it's more cute and funny. ^_^


Making off:

This costume is simple and very cute! ^_^
The short onepiece orange dress is made with white elastic (elastic so I don't need any button or zipper to wear it) cotton dyed orange (yeah again I haven't found cotton in the color I needed! >_<) and to make it I used a mini skirt from the 90's I have as patter, to give the trapezium shape to the skirt. Vest under the dress, belt and wrist cuffs are made out with blue jersey, and boot covers too are made out with the same blue jersey decorated with red cotton ribbons and a thin yellow cord.
For the boots I use a pair of red short boots I have which in my opinion are just perfect for this costume!!! I like very much how they turned out!!! The wig was an old wig I bought years ago for a Nami cosplay which I've
never did.
But to complete this costume I also build the "Nyoibo", the red stick of Goku who becomes longer and since I wanted to make it extendable I used a cloth hanger, covered with red plastic adhesive paper. The stick case is made with some cartboard covered with same red plastic adhesive paper of the stick and has a thin yellow cord attached on both sides to carry it like Goku.
